|Westshore Pizza, Brandon & Lithia|
|Written by Bob Kalle|
Westshore Pizza- Andy Dickson and Ronald Lambert decided to open up a Westshore Pizza in Brandon in 2013 and a second location in Lithia on 1/20/15. The Westshore Pizza franchise opened up 1n 1994 and has 35 locations, most of them in the Tampa Bay area. The addresses are below.
The menu revolves around pizza and philly cheesesteaks. In fact, they use the same rolls, amorosarolls, that are used in Philadelphia to add to their experience. They serve several types of salads, wings and oven baked grinders and philly hoagies. Their menu also includes many versions of New York style pizza, calzones and strombolis. Their dishes also include baked sandwiches, toasted deli sandwiches and their signature philly cheesesteaks. Want a burger, a baked dinner or one of several sides and appetizers, they got it. There is something for everybody. It would take many visits to sample it all.
Andy and Ronald are local guys, graduating from Bloomingdale High School. They decided to stay local and make their mark as young entrepreneurs. They work hard, about 80 hours a week, covering both locations. And their franchise is also involved in raising money for families with hardships.
I have met them and enjoyed talking with them and learning about their business. I appreciate young people that run their own business. I also sampled the pizza. Being from New York myself, I am a severe critic, and their pizza hit the mark. I suggest you give them a try.
