Brandon, FL (September 17, 2011) - During a formal check presentation on November 16, 2011 Barnacles Restaurant presented a $5,000 check to the Brandon Outreach Clinic.  The check was raised through a partnership involving Barnacles Restaurant, Brandon Regional Hospital & Total Imaging-Parsons.  The month long fundraiser titled “Save A Breast…Eat A Wing” invited guests to visit Barnacles & for every wing basket sold the restaurant donated $2.00 to the cause.

After the conclusion of another very successful summer program with over 180 boys & girls participating, FishHawk Coyotes Lacrosse announces that their 3rd annual Fall program registration is now open.  The program starts on Friday September 9th and runs twice per week on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons throughout September and October at the FishHawk Sports Complex.   Any youth boy or girl in Grades 1-12 is eligible to sign up.

Brandon, FL.  December 5, 2011 - The Blue Wave Swim Team’s Maddie Hess qualified for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials at U.S. Senior Nationals in Atlanta on Saturday, December 3, 2011 in the 200-meter backstroke with a time of 2:17.94, making it by .06. On Friday, December 2 she swam the 100-meter freestyle with a time of 58.10, breaking Blue Wave Olympian Maritza Correia’s Girls’ 13-14 record.
